On the other hand, coach Ime Udoka stuck to his usual starters of Fred VanVleet, Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, Amen Thompson and Alperen Sengun. The Rockets have been very aggressive in defending Curry this series, which has had mixed results as they entered Game 3 with the series tied 1-1.

The game was pretty close in the first quarter, with the Houston Rockets taking a four-point lead after the first 12 minutes. The Rockets would continue to hound Steph Curry on defense in the second period, with the Warriors going down by double digits quickly.

However, Curry caught fire late and pushed the Warriors to bring the lead down to just three points at halftime, 49-46. The Rockets started with seven unanswered points in the third quarter, but the Golden State Warriors' hustle gave them a chance to get back in the game.

Curry and Buddy Hield's 3-point shooting had a huge impact on the Warriors' offense, while Draymond Green anchored the defense. They put the clamps on in the fourth quarter, outscoring Houston 35-22 in the final period.
