How ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. Graded Patriots' 2025 NFL Draft Haul

Mel Kiper Jr. really liked what the Patriots did in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Kiper released his draft grades for all 32 teams Sunday morning and assigned an “A-” to New England. Mike Vrabel, Eliot Wolf and company were one of only five teams in the entire league to receive an “A-” grade for better from the longtime draft guru.

While the ESPN analyst acknowledged Will Campbell’s arm length is “not ideal,” the former believes the latter will “instantly improve” the Patriots. Kiper has a similar view on running back TreVeyon Henderson, who the draft expert believes is “in a perfect spot to maximize his skill set.” Kiper also thought the addition of Kyle Williams made New England’s wide receiver group “definitely better.”

Not to mention, the Patriots put together their promising 2025 draft class after being one of the more active teams in NFL free agency. All told, New England is poised to be a much-improved football team in its first season under Vrabel.
