Tennis: How to watch Alex Eala live at the US Open 2025

Alexandra ‘Alex’ Eala returns to the sight of her junior accolade at the 2025 US Open (24 August-7 September).

The Filipina tennis star was the junior singles champion at Flushing Meadows in 2022, and she now comes back to New York City as world number 70 and in the main draw of the women’s singles event.

Since reaching the Eastbourne Open final in June, Eala has suffered consecutive first round exits to former Grand Slam champions, taking them all the way to three sets.

The 20-year-old took the opening set in both matches, going on to be beaten by Barbora Krejčíková at Wimbledon and Markéta Vondroušová in Cincinnati.

Next up for Eala is the US Open first round, where she will face 14th seed Clara Tauson of Denmark in their first competitive meeting.
