The countdown to the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 has begun, with the tickets now available for fans looking to experience the action live from the stands across India and Sri Lanka.

Four cricket stadiums in India - ACA Stadium (Guwahati), Holkar Stadium (Indore), ACA-VDCA Stadium (Visakhapatnam) and DY Patil Stadium (Navi Mumbai) - will host matches. The R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo is the sole venue in Sri Lanka.

The Cricket ODI World Cup opener on September 30 will see co-hosts India face Sri Lanka in Guwahati. Defending champions Australia begin their campaign against New Zealand on October 1, while England meet South Africa on October 3.

India’s big-ticket clash against Pakistan is scheduled for October 5 in Colombo. All group-stage fixtures will be played at 3:00 PM, except for the England-New Zealand encounter on October 26, which starts at 11:00 AM.

The first semi-final will be held in Guwahati or Colombo on October 29, depending on whether the Pakistan cricket team qualifies, while the second semi-final is set for Navi Mumbai on October 30.

The final will be played on November 2, in Navi Mumbai if any team other than Pakistan qualifies, and in Colombo if Pakistan reach the title clash.

A total of 28 group matches will be played in a round-robin format, with the top four sides advancing to the semi-finals.

Australia are the most successful team in Women’s World Cup history with seven titles, followed by England with four. New Zealand have won once. India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are yet to lift the trophy.
