Rabbitohs sign Edward Kosi for the 2026 and 2027 seasons

The Mangere East Hawks junior will bring size and power to the Rabbitohs’ outside backs depth, standing 193cm tall and weighing 107kg whilst playing a majority of his football on the wing.

Kosi, 26, has played 36 NRL matches since debuting for the Warriors in round eight, 2021, scoring 19 tries.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are delighted to announce the signing of outside back Edward Kosi for the 2026 and 2027 seasons today.

Rabbitohs Head of Recruitment and Retention, Mark Ellison, says Kosi will add size and strength to the outside backs stocks at South Sydney.

“Ed has shown he has what it takes to play in the NRL at the Warriors and he will get the chance to test himself here at the Rabbitohs over the next two seasons,” Mr Ellison said.

“He is a big body with speed, power, footwork and an ability to get across the try line out wide which will complement the outside backs we have at the Club.

“We wish Ed the best of luck for the remainder of the season at the Warriors and we look forward to welcoming him to our Club for the 2026 pre-season.”
