WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl Saturday in the third one-day cricket international against England.

Bowling first has been a successful formula for New Zealand which has an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series after winning the first match by four wickets and the second by five wickets.

England's top order has failed in both matches and players such as Joe Root and Ben Duckett urgently need runs before the tourists head to Australia for the Ashes test series which begins in Perth on Nov. 21.

“We just have to play with freedom, play with a smile on our face and just try to have fun,” England captain Harry Brook said.

While England named an unchanged lineup, New Zealand named Devon Conway in place of Kane Williamson, who has a slight groin injury.

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner said the drop-in pitch for the match may be a bit soft but was likely to be good for batting.
