It was a funny admission. Bhuvneshwar Kumar on Thursday said that he had forgotten to use saliva in their earlier matches despite the ban being lifted, adding that he had forgotten it completely. The BCCI had lifted the Covid-19 pandemic time ban that ICC came up with after the meeting of IPL captains in Mumbai before the start of this season’s Indian Premier League (IPL). “I forgot that I can use saliva. Yesterday when the staff told me, I didn’t know that I have to use it. I am not sure if it will help or not, but now that I remember, definitely in tomorrow’s match I will put some saliva and see if it helps or not,” Kumar had said on the eve of their match against the Punjab Kings.
