Donegal are four points up on Monaghan with 10 minutes to go n their Ulster Championship quarter-final in Clones.

Donegal have already got a game under their belts as they defeated Derry by 10 points at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey in the first round of the Championship.

The Farney Army are the only team that could be considered a bogey team for Jim McGuinness as they dished out the only loss the All-Ireland-winning manager ever had in the Ulster Championship, in the 2015 final.

Monaghan have impressed so far this season, earning promotion to Division One in the league this year and winning the Division Two title in Croke Park at the end of the campaign.

Gabriel Bannigan and his men have a tough task ahead of them in Donegal, who look more and more like All-Ireland title favourites the more they play.

Their attacking options in Paddy McBrearty, Daire O Baoill and Oisin Gallen, among other, are relentless in their score-taking ability and they have a tough back six to break down.

However, Monaghan have shown already that they have what it takes to keep up with top opposition and have momentum and fresh legs on their side.
