Andy Murray will hold talks with Novak Djokovic about his coaching future after the Serbian superstar retired in the semi-finals of the Australian Open. The Scot joined the Serb’s coaching team in November to prepare for the first Grand Slam of the year. The 10-time champion today pulled out of his semi-final with Alex Zverev with the “muscle tear” he suffered in his four-set win over Carlos Alcaraz.

Djokovic remains level on 24 Grand Slam singles titles with Margaret Court - and his best chance to break the record this year will be at Wimbledon. There was no agreement between the two 37-year-olds about working together after Melbourne. And Murray said: “Me and Novak agreed that after the tournament we would speak. We'll do that.”
