Croke Park has been put on standby to host this Saturday's AIB All-Ireland Senior Club Football semi-finals, RTÉ Sport understands. Both last-four games - Cuala v Coolera/Strandhill and Errigal Ciaran v Dr Crokes - had originally been due to take place last weekend but were both postponed following pitch inspections amid wintry conditions.Cuala and Coolera/Strandhill's meeting is now due to throw in at 5pm on Saturday at Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan. The match between Dr Crokes and Errigal Ciaran has been moved to Cedral St Conleth's Park in Newbridge having initially been slated for Laois Hire O'Moore Park, where the pitch has since been deemed unplayable. But it is understood that stewards at Croke Park have been told that a final call as to where the matches will ultimately take place will be made on Friday, with a determination that the fixtures will be fulfilled this weekend. If the matches are moved to GAA HQ, only the lower Hogan Stand would be open.
