Manchester United’s released list hit double figures with 10 departures confirmed.A total of 10 players are leaving Manchester United, with the club’s released and retained list published by the Red Devils on June 9.Among those leaving the club is goalkeeper Tom Wooster, five years after joining Manchester United in 2020.Wooster took the gamble to make the switch to Manchester United’s academy despite winning Barnsley’s young player of the year award in 2019/20. Manchester will always hold a special place in my heart.”Tom Wooster’s achievements at Manchester UnitedTom Wooster played for Manchester United’s under-18s, under-21s, and in the under-19s in the UEFA Youth League.He made his under-18s debut when he was just 16, in a 4-2 win over Everton, and for the 21s when he was 18.Wooster was an unused substitute in Manchester United’s 2022 FA Youth Cup win, with Radek Vitek the starter.Wooster got the opportunity to train with Manchester United’s senior stars, and leaves with the benefit of the the club’s coaching tutelage, to take into a hopefully long and productive league career.
