CAA Men's And Women's Tennis Weekly Awards - Feb. 10

RICHMOND, Va. (February 10, 2026) – William & Mary sophomore Gur Trakhtenberg received CAA Men’s Tennis Player of the Week honors, while Stony Brook sophomore Paisha Douglas was chosen as the CAA Women’s Tennis Player of the Week. Earning Men’s Doubles Team of the Week were Drexel’s Will Burridge and Tarek Mo Erlewein, while Women’s Doubles Team of the Week went to William & Mary’s Francesca Davis and Tilda Larsson.

CAA Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

Gur Trakhtenberg, So., William & Mary (Raanana, Israel)

Trakhtenberg recorded victories at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in William & Mary’s narrow 4-3 setback to Big Ten foe Penn State. In singles, he rallied past PSU’s Michael Wright, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1. In doubles, Trakhtenberg and Oliver Hague topped Wright and David Lindsay, 6-4.

CAA Women’s Tennis Player of the Week

Paisha Douglas, So., Stony Brook (North Las Vegas, Nev.)

Douglas posted a 2-0 mark at No. 3 singles in Stony Brook’s matches with NJIT and UConn. The sophomore rallied for a 3-6, 7-6, 6-2 victory over NJIT’s Irene Cocero and followed with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 triumph over UConn’s Victoria Matos. Douglas is on a three-match winning streak.

CAA Men’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week

Will Burridge, Jr., Drexel (Swindon, United Kingdom)

Tarek Mo Erlewein, Sr., Drexel (Stuhr, Lower Saxony, Germany)

Burridge and Erlewein contributed a 2-0 week at No. 1 doubles in matches against Rider and St. John’s. The Dragons’ duo defeated Armando Sotelo and David Petrovic of St. John’s, 6-2. In a 6-1 team victory over Rider, they beat Matteus Froberg Dahlin and and Axel Engstrom, 6-3. Burridge and Erlewein also combined for three singles wins last week.

CAA Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week

Francesca Davis, Jr., William & Mary (Glastonbury, Somerset, England)

Tilda Larsson, Fr., William & Mary (Malmo, Sweden)

Davis and Larsson went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles as William & Mary earned the doubles point in both matches last week. In a 7-0 team win over Mount St. Mary’s, the Tribe tandem topped MSM’s Bella Pescatore and Venus Tang, 6-3. In a 6-1 setback to Maryland, Davis and Larsson edged the Terps’ Magdelena Blank and Oliwia Orlinska, 7-6.
