Dominik Szoboszlai reaction to Milos Kerkez message speaks volumes amid Liverpool transfer link

The latest Liverpool transfer news and gossip with an update on AFC Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.

Dominik Szoboszlai has sent another clear message to Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez - who continues to be linked with a move to Anfield. The Cherries' left-back has been credited as a possible target for the Reds for several months - particularly since the January transfer window opened and closed.

A recent report from The i Paper claimed that Liverpool are "closing in" on signing Kerkez ahead of the summer transfer window. A fee in the region of £40million has been suggested for the Hungary international in the past, although it's thought the Reds are yet to make an official offer to Bournemouth.



The ECHO understands that Liverpool do have an interest in signing Kerkez and are keeping an eye on the full-back as the summer window approaches. Amid the speculation, Szoboszlai has offered provided hints that the Reds may be looking to sign his compatriot.

On Friday, Kerkez posted a message on Instagram ahead of Hungary's clash against Turkey in the Nations League, which will take place on on Sunday. Kerkez and his teammates trail 3-1 from their defeat on Thursday, and the Liverpool-linked left-back posted a message outlining his determination to get a better result this time around.

"We will give everything on Sunday," Kerkez wrote on Instagram. With the message, Szoboszlai 'liked' the post along with more than 11,000 other people.

Kerkez and Szoboszlai are friends off the pitch, which has only fuelled speculated that the Bournemouth defender could sign for Liverpool. It was last month that Kerkez chatted about the possibility of playing alongside Szoboszlai in a Reds shirt.

"It wouldn't look bad [playing alongside Szoboszlai at Liverpool], that's for sure," admitted Kerkez in an interview with Nemzeti Sport. "But it's too early to talk about something like that. I have big goals with Bournemouth - and we still have a lot of games to win, so that's the most important thing right now."
