Report: Klopp Willing To Take Real Madrid Job If They Sign Liverpool Star

While there have already been a number of high profile managerial changes in recent weeks, it remains to be seen what will happen with the current bosses at Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Arne Slot has likely saved his job for now after Liverpool's decent run of results in recent times. However Xabi Alonso's position at Real Madrid is reportedly still under threat.

The former Bayer Leverkusen boss has had a turbulent time in the Spanish capital. Results on the pitch have been largely mixed, while Alonso has also had a fractious relationship with some big personalities in the dressing room.

Real Madrid could still replace Alonso at some point this season, with a certain German reportedly their primary target.

Jurgen Klopp Willing To Take Real Madrid Job If They Sign Liverpool Star

Jurgen Klopp has been tipped with a return to football management in recent times, with the 58-year having been out of a coaching job since leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2024.

Football 365 are reporting that Klopp is open to coaching Real Madrid, although it would come with a couple of asks on his behalf. One of them would be to sign Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, while the other would be to sign a traditional centre forward such as Harry Kane.

Alexis Mac Allister has been linked with Real Madrid on a number of occasions over the last 12 months or so, although those rumours did cool somewhat after his poor performances this season. However, Klopp is a huge fan of the player having been the driving force behind his move to Liverpool in 2023.

It has previously been suggested that the midfielder would be keen to play for Los Blancos at some point during his career.

Jurgen Klopp looks likely to return to coaching at some point in the near future, having acted as an advisor with the Red Bull football group in recent times. He has been heavily linked with the German national team job, although it remains to be seen if Julian Nagelsmann will leave that role after this summer's World Cup.
