Lamine Yamal picks his all-time Barcelona XI

Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal is already one of the hottest properties in football at the tender age of 17 and the hope is he will go on to enjoy a long and succesful career.

The teenager has already had to endure comparisons to Lionel Messi, something he’s regularly played down, such is his talent and quality.

Yamal has now been asked for his favorite players and has come up with his all-time Barcelona XI.

The teenager has chosen a team full of stars and has gone with Barca’s famous MSN frontline as his attack of choice.

His attacking line-up also sees Ronaldinho feature in midfield along with Xavi, Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta.

Here’s how Yamal explains it: “I would put Ronaldinho in midfield. Because I already know who I will put up front and there won’t be a spot left. And I would put him as a No. 10.”

Yamal then goes for a backline of Carles Puyol, Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano, with Victor Valdes as the goalkeeper.
