Chelsea on board to sign Garnacho?

As per reports, the Blues are monitoring Garnacho’s situation and may submit a bid later in August, when the season will already be up and running. Since United would be under pressure to offload the player, Chelsea may want to make the most of the time constraint and rake in benefits by signing Garnacho.

The Telegraph report that Chelsea have already conducted a series of background checks on Garnacho to learn about his character and personality.

He has seemingly passed those tests, but Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is currently focused on roping in attacking midfielder Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig.
