We do give crosses but we could give more and if you don't give them enough or go on the outside enough, players in front of goal feel they haven't touched it enough so when we do cross, no-one is there, underloaded. We are always underloaded in the box, sometimes it is all 11 of their players. I think we will always be underloaded in the opposition area but we are underloaded too much at times. Definitely one of the things we're aware of is that. Most of our midfielders like to have the ball at their feet and these players need to know we can attack the box. That is one of the things that is so obvious I can even say here "

I think it is great for Calvin where he is now, he came back to 21s half a year ago and everyone there is hoping for a chance and it's a big chance he has noe to get to the first team, so when someone is unlucky there is always a player who benefits from that and Calvin is one of those. I have better options but the moment I am running out of them, he has shown in that one game v Palace, he is good enough to be around our players, then you wait for your chance to show this to the rest of the world. But at the moment I have better options."

It is a style you face, not for the first time, so you can work on it a lot. A lot of game experience of it and there are a few things we can improve but that comes with risk and that is we have to make sure we don't concede too many counters, which is what has happened a lot. We push and push and concede a goal on the counter. In all these games we have not been creating enough but I always say the same with the ball possession we have. We hardly concede chances now, which is a positive but we keep working on details which can hopefully lead to major shifts in the amount of chances we get. Small details can influence a lot. Margins in football are really small. This is what we try to find with the players we have available."

I spoke to Dom [about Barnsley mistake], it's all sorted. Not his best thing he has done but he also had some good moments as well, scored a great goal an unbeliveable cross for Wirtz but that moment (mistake) wasn't his best.

"Who knows if he starts, the players will find out today...Robertson said he wants to play and needs games but it is not just these two. I know who is going to play and the players will find out today."

The last 11 games, we have hardly conceded chances, but in the period before that we created lots but conceded more chances. And they were more open games where maybe people look back and want those now but the results weren't as we wanted them to be. We have to find that balance and we will, the players are growing, they find belief and getting fitter. We are waiting for a moment when we can kickstart our season even more than we have.

"Assessment of what can be achieved for the rest of the season:

"First of all it's important to improve, get your game better and better because the teams you face later on are usually stronger as well. The margins are so small in these games, the only team who took PSG to pens, very close to elimination from CL. But in the end they took them better than us, so these are the margins we are talking about, we need luck in moments, we need to be really good because for me, maybe I am the only one, I don't get why Man City's goal was disallowed against Newcastle but it didn't influence the result. A good example of a game you are unlucky with the decision but you still win it. That is a good example of how I want it to be. The Man Utd penalty shouldn't have influenced our result, but it did. We had Mac Allister on the floor with four stitches needed and the ref didn't stop the game."

95th minute when we last got a penalty we deserved (against Burnley). A few weeks later, a clear handball v United and we never got it. So you never know what you get with referee decisions, Burnley away was a game we had multiple chances but they made it really hard that day. So yeah, we will be ready, looking forward to it, another home game where we want to show what we can do from all the ball possession. We have worked a lot on that and I am waiting on the moment it really clicks. A lot of chances hopefully, but the moment we generate more chances, we have to be a bit more open and in a certain period this season we have conceded a lot fo counters, so we have to create the ideal balance to create more and not concede many."

Ideally it's not 11 unbeaten, it's 11 won. That is what we aim for, Villa won a lot in a row but from where we were at PSV to now, a much better place but room for improvement but there is always room for improvement, even last year when we were top of CL and PL."

On CL qualification:

"It's a challenge because it is PL and we are not in the most ideal position, especially when you compare after six games but we compete with these teams now for fourth. So still a lot to play for in the league, we know how important it is for this club to qualify for CL. It didn't happen a few years ago and that had a big financial impact on this club. We are also aware of the fact the league is stronger than ever, that is what we have to do well in the league with FA Cup and CL to fight for."
