US Open 2025: Full order of play, Sunday 24 August - all matches, complete schedule of opening day singles at tennis Grand Slam

Novak Djokovic begins his quest for a record 25th Grand Slam title at the 2025 US Open when singles action gets underway on Sunday, 24 August.

The Olympic tennis champion opens the night session on Arthur Ashe Stadium, the centre court of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City, USA. He plays at 19:00 local time (EDT, GMT-4) against rising American talent Learner Tien, who has four top-10 victories in 2025.

Before that, the day's proceedings on Arthur Ashe start with USA number two Ben Shelton against Peruvian qualifier Ignacio Buse. Defending women's singles champion Aryna Sabalenka follows up, as she takes on Switzerland's Rebeka Masarova.

Among the other stars in action are last year's men's and women's runners-up in Taylor Fritz and Jessica Pegula, respectively, as well as the 2021 champions of Emma Raducanu and Daniil Medvedev.
