Know IWL football schedule and where to watch live streaming

The Indian Women's League 2024-25 football season will kickstart on January 10 and run till April 13.

The IWL has been India’s top-tier women’s football competition ever since its inception in 2016 and the upcoming season will be the league’s eighth edition. The matches will be live streamed in India.

Similar to the preceding season, the upcoming Indian Women's League campaign will follow a double round-robin format, where each team plays the other sides twice in home-and-away matches.

Nine clubs were initially set to compete in IWL 2024-25. Apart from the seven teams from last season, two promoted Indian Women's League 2 sides - Sreebhumi FC from West Bengal and Nita Football Academy from Odisha will be a part of the league.

However, Sports Odisha withdrawal from the upcoming campaign meant that a total of eight teams will be vying for the IWL 2024-25 title.

Nita Football Academy

Both East Bengal and Sreebhumi FC will play their matches in Kolkata, while Odisha FC and Nita Football Academy will host their home games in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, respectively.

HOPS FC will play their games in New Delhi, Gokulam Kerala in Kozhikode, Sethu in Madurai and Kickstart in Bengaluru.

Odisha FC are the defending champions, while Gokulam Kerala FC are the most successful side in IWL with three titles.

The IWL 2024-25 will kick off with East Bengal facing Kickstart in the season’s curtain raiser, while Odisha FC play Gokulam Kerala FC in the league’s second game on the same day.

Where to watch Indian Women’s League 2024-25 live in India

Live streaming of the Indian Women’s League 2024-25 will be available on the SSEN app and website in India. There will be no live telecast of the IWL season on any TV channels in India.
