Known for her confidence and composure, she recently opened up about one of the most vulnerable phases of her life. During a candid chat with her close friend and filmmaker Farah Khan, Sania revealed how she once suffered a panic attack after her divorce from Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, and how Farah was the one who came to her rescue that day.

Sania Mirza opens up about her lowest moment of life

The emotional revelation came during the first episode of Sania’s new YouTube talk show, Serving It Up With Sania, which featured Farah as her debut guest. The conversation quickly turned personal as the two discussed friendship, loss, and resilience. Sania shared that there was a moment when she was emotionally overwhelmed just before a live show, and it was Farah who showed up unexpectedly to comfort her.

Without going into many details, Sania recalled that she was "shivering" and unable to gather herself to perform. She said that if Farah hadn’t arrived when she did, she wouldn’t have been able to face the camera. According to Sania, her friend’s reassuring words and presence gave her the strength to carry on.

Farah, too, remembered that day vividly. She said she could immediately sense Sania’s distress and rushed to be by her side, abandoning her own shoot and arriving “in pyjamas and slippers.” The filmmaker said she didn’t think twice before leaving, as she knew Sania needed someone to stand beside her at that moment.

Sania says nothing is more difficult than being single mother

Sania and Shoaib tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, in 2018. Since then, Sania has embraced single motherhood, balancing her career and parenting duties with grace. During the conversation, Farah praised Sania’s strength, saying that raising a child alone while maintaining a career requires double the effort, something Sania manages beautifully.

This heartwarming exchange between the two close friends struck a chord with the fans. It showed that even the most successful personalities go through emotional turmoil, but what matters is having the right support system. Farah’s gesture reminded everyone that friendship can be one of the strongest sources of comfort during life’s hardest moments.
