NEW DELHI: The IPL 2025 match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) witnessed a fiery moment as tempers flared between spinner Digvesh Rathi and SRH batter Abhishek Sharma in the 8th over of the innings.The dramatic incident occurred when Rathi dismissed a red-hot Abhishek Sharma for a blistering 59 off just 20 balls.Sharma, who had been toying with the bowlers, looked to launch a wide googly over the off-side but ended up slicing it to sweeper cover, where Shardul Thakur took a sharp running catch.What should’ve been a moment of celebration quickly turned tense.Rathi, known for his signature “book-sign” celebration, pulled it out once again after getting the breakthrough.But this time, it didn’t sit well with Sharma. However, the middle overs dragged down their momentum, especially after the dismissal of skipper Rishabh Pant for just 7.
