World No. 2 Jannik Sinner continues his impressive run at the 2025 Paris Masters, defeating American Ben Shelton 6–3, 6–3 in Friday’s (31 October) quarter-finals to reach the semi-finals for the first time in his tennis career.

With this win, Sinner extends his indoor hard-court winning streak to 24 matches and moves closer to reclaiming the World No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings, following Carlos Alcaraz's early exit earlier in the week.

The Italian has yet to drop a set in Paris, having also earned straight-set victories over Belgium’s Zizou Bergs and Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo in the opening rounds.

Sinner’s ATP live ranking points now stand at 10,900, narrowing the gap on Alcaraz, who remains at 11,250 after his second-round defeat.
