India camp hit by more injuries, Playing XI TENSION before Manchester Test vs England

NEW DELHI: In a delightful blend of cricket and football, members of the Indian men's cricket team met players and staff from Premier League giants Manchester United in Manchester on Sunday. The crossover event, held ahead of the fourth Test against England, saw stars from both teams enjoy a fun-filled session involving football and cricket.Players from both sides were seen exchanging jerseys, sharing laughs, and even engaging in a friendly football and cricket showdown. Head coach Gautam Gambhir led the interaction from the Indian camp and posed for photographs with Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.India's Test captain Shubman Gill took a spot kick during the football drills, showcasing his multi-sport flair.Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj grabbed the spotlight by bowling to Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, a light-hearted moment that was cheered by both camps.Siraj and Maguire were also seen sharing a laugh, highlighting the camaraderie.Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant , known for his lively presence, posed with a customised Manchester United shirt, while French defender Leny Yoro of Manchester United returned the gesture by holding up a customised Indian Test jersey.Jasprit Bumrah engaged in a friendly chat with United stars Mason Mount and Maguire, while young Indian talents like Arshdeep Singh , Dhruv Jurel, Shardul Thakur, and Prasidh Krishna explored the United camp and posed with their customised football shirts.Kuldeep Yadav, Karun Nair, and Washington Sundar were also part of the engaging meet, seen interacting with United's coaching staff and players, further cementing the warm exchange between the two squads.The fourth Test at Old Trafford will start on July 23.India are currently trailing the five-match series 1-2.
