WBBL 2024: Match 11, MR-W vs PS-W Match Prediction

Melbourne Renegades (MR-W) lock horns with Perth Scorchers (PS-W) in match 11 of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) 2024 on Saturday, November 2, at the Junction Oval in Melbourne.

Last season, the Renegades finished at the bottom of the table after winning just two and losing 12 out of their 14 matches. The start to this season hasn't been promising either as the Sophie Molineux-led side has lost both their games so far. They started with a three-wicket defeat to Sydney Sixers before going down to Brisbane Heat by 28 runs. There is still a long way to go in the tournament but the nightmares of last season will start haunting the team if they take too long to get off the blocks.

Meanwhile, Perth Scorchers have had a good start to the season as they defeated Melbourne Stars in their opening fixture by 13 runs in a low-scoring thriller. Scorchers made it to the Challenger last year, where they lost to eventual runners-up Brisbane Heat. Captain Beth Mooney has a strong squad at her disposal and will look to guide the Scorchers to the title this season.
