The football calendar can be a strange beast. Liverpool played nine games in December alone and now only have the same amount over the remaining 10 weeks of the season.

There's almost a full fortnight before the Reds are again in action, with early FA Cup elimination meaning their next fixture is the trifling matter of the Anfield derby against Everton on Wednesday, April 2.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

The right-back has been absent since injuring his ankle when attempting a tackle during the Champions League round of 16 home defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on March 11. While the damage is not as bad as first feared, Alexander-Arnold is expected to be sidelined for a number of weeks but should be back in action for the end of next month.

Expected return date: Late April

Conor Bradley

Bradley sustained a hamstring injury during a brief substitute appearance towards the end of the 2-2 draw at Aston Villa on February 19. The initial expectation was for the player to be out for a few weeks, but the right-back has since missed the League Cup final and been omitted from the current squad for Northern Ireland, whose boss Michael O'Neill indicated Bradley wasn't close to return but could be available before the end of the season.

Expected return date: Late April/May

Joe Gomez

Gomez first suffered a hamstring injury at West Ham United in late December, and then aggravated the damage early on in his return at Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup in February. He has since undergone surgery to rectify the damage and is only likely to be available for the closing weeks of the campaign.

Expected return date: May

Ryan Gravenberch

Gravenberch is among several Liverpool players who have looked tired in recent weeks given the amount of games they have had to play this season. He withdrew from the Holland squad late on Wednesday from their UEFA Nations League double header against Spain with an unspecified injury that will be assessed on his return to Merseyside.

Expected return date: Unknown

Tyler Morton

The midfielder has struggled for minutes this season, but would have been expected to feature more regularly after the New Year but for a shoulder issue initially suffered in the League Cup quarter-final at Southampton in December that required an operation in February. It's unlikely he will be fit enough to play again this term.

Expected return date: Next season

Harvey Elliott

Elliott required treatment on the field after the final whistle of the League Cup final loss to Newcastle United after being on the receiving end of an unpunished foul by Joelinton. And while he later hobbled away from Wembley, he was fit enough to train with England under-21 at the start of this week.

Expected return date: April 2

Ibrahima Konate

Konate was substituted at half-time of France's Nations League clash against Croatia on Thursday after picking up a knock, according to his national team's official X account. Their post read: "Dayot Upamecano replaces Ibrahima Konate, who picked up a knock in the first half." Liverpool have made no mention of any injury in their latest international round-up.

Alisson Becker

Alisson had to be substituted with 'suspected concussion' in Brazil's win over Colombia overnight. Brazil's national team doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar, said: "Becker suffered a trauma to the head region, he was replaced by a suspected concussion. Now we will do all the CBF protocol, it will undergo recommended imaging tests, a computed tomography, then a resonance with diffusion. If all the tests are normal, we’ll follow up and do a cognitive test. And then we will evaluate the player. In the possibility that everything is normal, we will make a sequence of observations in the coming days. Today, we will do the tests, all the necessary evaluations. Alisson is normal, with no complaints. He reported no fainting and no memory loss. He thought it was a little slower. In this complaint, the recommended is the replacement of the player.”

Expected return date: April 2
