IPL 2023 Auction: 3 Teams Which Can Target In-form N Jagadeesan

One of the eight players released by Chennai Super Kings during the IPL 2023 retention window was N Jagadeesan. In his seven games thus far for CSK, N Jagadeesan has scored 73 runs at an average of 24.33 and a strike rate of slightly over 100. The Tamil Nadu cricketer has not been given many chances to bat despite playing for CSK for a few seasons now.

In an ODI match for the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Monday against Arunachal Pradesh, Narayan Jagadeesan amassed 277 runs. His fifth consecutive century in the competition came on Monday. Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

In the IPL 2023 Mini Auctions, KKR is one of the teams that can target N Jagadeesan. The only team without an actual domestic wicketkeeper in the lineup is the two-time champions. They can also afford to give this player an opening. Therefore, Jagadeesan’s services would be of interest to them. In IPL 2022, KKR explored a lot of possibilities but was unable to identify the ideal candidate. They might have a player on their hands if they give Jagadeesan a run of games, though.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

N Jagadeesan stayed at CSK for a long time, but he never had enough chances. The wicketkeeper-batsman is unable to make an impact even when given chances. The team could still pursue the player, though.

CSK is in need of a wicketkeeper after MS Dhoni. N Jagadeesan is a dependable cricket player, and the fact that he is from Tamil Nadu would please the home crowd as well.
