SKY SPORTS have officially revived its popular 'Sunday Supplement' TV show after nearly half a decade, according to reports.

And a surprise face will host the beloved show, which continued in podcast form after being removed from our screens.

It was revealed earlier this year that the broadcasting powerhouse would revamp the beloved weekly show, which disappeared from our screens in 2020 after an epic 20-year run.

But Sky chiefs, after much deliberation, have decided to bring it back from the dead.

They've opted NOT to change the name of the once-regularly viewed roundtable show.

It will, according to the Daily Mail, be presented by the broadcaster's long-time transfer guru Dharmesh Sheth.

Sheth has well and truly earned the prestigious gig after working for Sky for the best part of 27 YEARS.

And he's honoured to have been given the opportunity to host the much-loved show.

He told The Mail: "To be given the opportunity to present the show is all a bit surreal.

"And I can't wait to get started."

The Sunday Supplement regularly saw industry insiders and journalists discuss the latest goings-on in the top-flight and beyond.

Guests also discussed the stories dominating the back pages.

The show, which began back in 1999 under it's previous name 'Hold The Back Page', was initially presented by the late Jimmy Hill.

Brian Woolnough and Neil Ashton also hosted the show, which regularly has featured SunSport's own Shaun Custis.
