Christian Pulisic and Yann Sommer: Football stars preview Winter Games 2026 Opening Ceremony

FC Internazionale Milano and Milan share a stadium and a historic rivalry, and ahead of Milano Cortina 2026 players from both sides have come together before Friday's epic Opening Ceremony.

The Milano San Siro Olympic Stadium is one of the most iconic football grounds in the world, where both Inter and Milan play their home matches.

And on 6 February the stadium plays stage to the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony, where stars including Mariah Carey,Lang Lang and Andrea Bocelli will perform.

Ahead of the curtain-raiser, Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer and Milan star Christian Pulisic visited the stadium ahead of the spectacle.

The pair had previously met on the San Siro pitch in November, when Pulisic scored the winner for Milan, and the teams will next face each other in the derby on 8 March.

On this occasion, Sommer and Pulisic both wore their respective team colours when taking in the stadium's transformation, with preparations for the Opening Ceremony almost complete before Friday's night to remember.
