Marcus Rashford transfer latest: Man United forward subject of 'enquiry' from Serie A giants

Italian giants make an enquiry over a potential move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, who is looking for a route out of Old Trafford this summer.

Juventus have reportedly enquired about a potential move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa after falling out with Man United head coach Ruben Amorim.

Rashford is now back at Old Trafford, but is not part of Amorim's plans and is looking to find a new home before the transfer window shuts later this summer.

Barcelona have been linked with a move for the England international, but the Catalan side are only willing to sign him on a loan deal.

Liverpool have are said to be considering a shock swoop for Rashford, while Fenerbahce are showing an interest in reuniting the attacker with his former manager, Jose Mourinho.

Juventus enquire over Rashford deal

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are also among the clubs eyeing a possible move for the Man United academy product.

The report states that Juventus have made an enquiry over a potential deal to add Rashford to Igor Tudor's squad.

However, it remains to be seen whether Juventus can agree a deal with Man United and whether they can meet the player's wage demands.

At this stage, it is unclear whether the record Italian champions would want to sign Rashford on loan or on a permanent transfer.

Juventus are also said to be showing an interest in Rashford's Man United teammate Jadon Sancho, who is searching for a new home after returning from his loan spell with Chelsea.

Would Juventus be a good option for Rashford?

Juventus would be able to offer Rashford the chance to play Champions League football after finishing in fourth place in Serie A last term.

The Bianconeri will also be harbouring ambitions of challenging for silverware, having won just one trophy in the past three seasons.

Rashford could also get the opportunity to play regularly in Tudor's preferred 3-4-2-1 system, where he could play as one of the two number 10s or as the main forward.

With that said, he would face competition from the likes of Kenan Yildiz and Francisco Conceicao for the attacking midfield roles, while Jonathan David is likely to feature as the first-choice number nine following his arrival on a free transfer.

As a result, Rashford will have to prove to Tudor that he is deserving of a regular starting opportunity, but he certainly possesses the capability to become a key player in the Juventus squad if he can rediscover his best form.
