Chelsea 0-0 Leeds

Joao Pedro should do better. The forward latches on to a clever clipped pass from Enzo Fernandez but there isn't enough conviction in his effort to test Karl Darlow.

'Everyone was moaning about Ange's approach'

Tottenham 0-0 Newcastle

Tim Krul

Former Newcastle goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

With Thomas Frank coming in, everyone expected them to be more solid throughout the team. Everyone was moaning about Ange's all-in approach. Under Frank, there is a lot of passing sideways – there has been no directness in the tactics.

Wilson Odobert picks the ball up wide left and has a chance to go at Dan Burn but the big defender stands his ground and comes away with the ball.

Far too easy.

Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Let's just say neither team are going out of their way to create chances at this current moment.

Adrien Truffert swings a hopeful cross in but Jordan Pickford rises highest to claim it.

End to end at Stamford Bridge. Robert Sanchez catches James Justin's free-kick and Chelsea break at speed.

Marc Cucurella flies down the left-flank and tries to fire the ball into the path of Cole Palmer, but his cut-back is intercepted.

Malick Thiaw lifts one forward. It bounces off the backside of Dan Burn and drops nicely for Jacob Ramsey to have a go.

He connects well enough but it goes out for Newcastle's sixth corner.

Man Utd's goalkeepers encroaching on West Ham space

West Ham v Man Utd (20:15 GMT)

Simon Stone

BBC Sport Manchester United reporter at the London Stadium

Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior would not approve of Manchester United's goalkeeping warm-ups.

Senne Lammens was playing long balls to Altay Bayindir, who was deep in the West Ham half, surrounded by home players.

Rosenior accused Arsenal of a 'lack of respect' for encroaching on Chelsea's warm-up at the Emirates Stadium last week.

Bayindir has moved back into the United half.

'Both managers will be happy so far'

Tottenham 0-0 Newcastle

Glenn Hoddle

Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

That space opens up. Good refereeing from Anthony Taylor.

Good football. It's just the angle Joe Willock strikes it at, it goes just wide.

I think both managers will be happy with how their teams have started.

'Romero is a liability'

Tottenham 0-0 Newcastle

Tim Krul

Former Newcastle goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Giving Cristian Romero the captaincy is still a big decision from the manager. Ultimately, Romero has not repaid that confidence, which the manager has given him. He is a liability to a certain point.

Reminder, Cristian Romero is currently serving a four-game suspension after his red card against Manchester United.

Post

Chelsea 0-0 Leeds

Leeds have a free-kick just inside the Chelsea half after a foul from Trevoh Chalobah.

Defender James Justin connects with the free-kick, though his header is tame and easily collected by Robert Sanchez.
