How to watch Leeds United vs Bristol City: TV channel, live stream and team news including Dan James latest

Leeds United will be aiming to keep the good times rolling when they face off against Bristol City.

The hangovers have only just started to clear after Leeds United finally sealed promotion back to the Premier League on Easter Monday, thanks in part to the Joel Piroe-inspired 6-0 demolition of Stoke City.

It’s been a whirlwind week with parties, Daniel Farke’s job being questioned and then secured and plans to expand Elland Road being moved forward.

There’s been so much celebration and looking to the future that you’d be forgiven for thinking the season was finished, but there is still a Championship title to be won.

Leeds are battling it out with Burnley for the title and the Clarets stole a march on Farke’s side by smashing QPR 5-0 on Saturday to go three points clear.

The pressure is back on Leeds as anything less than a win against Bristol City will give the advantage to their Lancashire rivals going into the final day.

Here is everything you need to know about the fixture.

Leeds United team news vs Bristol City

With so much interesting stuff to talk about during his pre-match press conference, like Farke expertly answering questions regarding his job, there was little room for team news chat.

Leeds have two injury doubts going into the match but hopefully they will be fit to take part in the final home game of the campaign.

Joe Rothwell was scheduled for a return against Bristol after missing the Easter Weekend double header, in what could be his final appearance at Elland Road ahead of a return to Bournemouth.

Dan James clearly wasn’t fit when he came off the bench against Oxford United and sat out the win over Stoke as a result. He said he would be fit for Bristol but it remains to be seen if he will be risked from the start.

Bristol City, meanwhile, will be without Cam Pring, Joe Williams, Luke McNally and Mark Sykes.

Prediction

This match will be far from easy since Bristol have yet to confirm their Play-off place and will do so if they win.

Yet, if Leeds are in the mood to put on a party, they are more than capable of winning the match.

Prediction: Leeds United 2-1 Bristol City.
