Portugal urged to DROP Cristiano Ronaldo to go all the way at the World Cup

Portugal are capable of winning the World Cup, but must drop Cristiano Ronaldo to go all the way in Qatar, according to Mail on Sunday Chief Sports Writer Oliver Holt.

Fernando Santos' side finished top of their group on Friday, but were beaten by South Korea, with Ronaldo at fault for the first goal that his team conceded in their 2-1 loss.

Holt believes the 37-year-old is no longer bringing enough to his team, and must pass on the baton to the younger generation to take Portugal to World Cup glory.
