India vs Pakistan – today's T20 World Cup blockbuster at R. Premadasa Stadium – is a must-watch for cricket fans. The heated rivalry between IND and PAK goes well beyond sport. See below for how to watch India vs Pakistan live streams free.

There was no handshakes between India captain Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan counterpart Salman Agha at the toss.

Both teams have a 100% record so far, but India top the Group A standings by virtue of their vastly superior net run rate. Their 93-run victory over Namibia last time out was their biggest ever T20 World Cup win. Pakistan cruised to victory over USA after surviving a scare against the Netherlands.

Sahibzada Farhan, who hit a major personal milestone in midweek with his 1,000th T20I run, has set the tone for the Shaheens. The right-hander was top-scorer for Pakistan in all three India v Pakistan encounters at the 2025 Asia Cup. Their spin-heavy attack should also find plenty of joy in the Khettarama pitch, though Babar Azam's ongoing slump remains a concern.

India's top-ranked T20I batsman Abhishek Sharma has had a nightmare so far, being bowled for a golden duck on his tournament debut, before being hospitalized with a stomach bug. He's expected to return to the team for Sunday's encounter, though India fared well in his absence, thanks to Ishan Kishan. They have, however, shown a propensity for losing multiple wickets in quick succession.

The winner will effectively secure their place in the Super 8s with a game to spare, joining the West Indies and South Africa in the knockouts. The losing team, however, will still be in a healthy position, with Namibia still pointless and rooted to the bottom of Group A, and USA and Netherlands level-pegging on two points apiece.

Colombo has been hit with thunderstorms today, and while the lightning appears to have now subsided, there's still plenty of rain in the air.

Will rain lash IND vs PAK on Feb 15th?

TLDR: rain isn’t guaranteed, but there’s a strong risk of showers during the India match — so it could be wet and interruptions are possible, according to the Pakistan Government.

Current international forecast models and reports suggest a significant chance of rain (roughly 50 – 65 %) around the toss/match time, with scattered thunderstorms and showers possible before or during the game. If it does rain, it may cause delays, interruptions, or even a reduced-overs match, though a full washout is not certain. Modern drainage at the stadium can help resume play relatively quickly if showers occur.
