Pakistan Test opener Abdullah Shafique is looking forward to facing England at home in the three-match Test series.The 22-year-old has been phenomenal in his Test career for Pakistan, scoring 736 runs in seven matches at an average of 66.90. It will be a challenge for us,” Shafique told a local news channel.“We are a good Test side but just need to work on the small mistakes we make on the field,” he added.The right-handed batter said that playing in domestic cricket has helped him maintain the same standard as international cricket.“I’m currently focused on the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in order to maintain my good form,” he said. “We play quality cricket in our domestic circuit, which is why stepping on the international arena after a long gap won’t be an issue.”It must be noted that the three-match Test series between Pakistan and England is starting from December 1.
