Leeds United are making important strides towards signing Bilal El Khannouss from Leicester City, MOT Leeds News has learned.

Given the Foxes’ relegation from the Championship, the 21-year-old attacking midfielder appears likely to part ways with them in order to play top-flight football.

MOT Leeds News has learned that the Elland Road outfit are the most likely to sign El Khannouss and are progressing in their efforts to sign him.

Despite the lack of Champions League football and a precarious position in the top flight after their first season post promotion, the Whites are confident of landing the midfielder.
