Bangkok, Thailand – The Coca-Cola Company system in Thailand—comprising Thai Namthip, HaadThip, and Coca-Cola Thailand—has opened applications for the Coke Cup U17 Thailand Football Championship 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to engage with and develop young athletes in the country.Organised in collaboration with the Football Association of Thailand, the nationwide tournament will bring together 192 youth teams across six regional zones. The competition is scheduled to run from May to August 2026, featuring more than 200 matches. The winning team will receive THB1m (USD30.5k), while the runner-up will be awarded THB500,000 (USD15.2k).Aside from the competition, a programme for 192 young Thai players from the participating regions will undergo training from Thailand’s U17 national team staff.The initiative reflects Coca-Cola’s continued involvement in grassroots sports development, particularly among youth athletes. By combining competitive play with training exposure, the programme aims to identify early-stage talent and provide aspiring players with opportunities to progress towards professional football.Participation is open to academy teams affiliated with Thai League clubs, as well as school and college teams that meet the association’s licensing requirements. Teams without prior academy licensing may also register through a free application process.The tournament forms part of Coca-Cola’s broader sports engagement strategy in Thailand for 2026, which includes a series of football-related activities aimed at connecting with younger audiences and supporting the growth of local talent.
