EXCLUSIVE: Nitish Kumar Reddy ruled out of England Test series

Team India could hand a maiden Test cap to fast bowler Anshul Kamboj in the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford, Manchester, starting Wednesday. India currently trail the five-match Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 1-2 after three Tests.The Haryana pacer travelled with the squad to Manchester in hopes of cutting the deficit and levelling the series. Kamboj was part of the contingent that met manager and players of Premier League giants Manchester United on Sunday. The 24-year-old was also seen in action during Monday's net session, bowling under the watchful eyes of head coach Gautam Gambhir and bowling coach Morne Morkel.He was among four pacers — alongside Jasprit Bumrah , Mohammed Siraj, and Prasidh Krishna — who bowled in the nets, with Gambhir keeping a particularly close watch on the uncapped seamer.ndia's squad, especially the seam bowling options, has been hampered going into the all-important fourth Test. With Arshdeep Singh ruled out with an injury to his bowling hand and Akash Deep sustaining a groin niggle, the options have dwindled.Akash Deep did not bowl during the nets session on Monday, instead undergoing a fitness test.India will also be without the services of all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy who has been ruled out of the remaining two Tests due to a left knee injury. The BCCI confirmed Nitish will fly back to India.
