Burnley new signing Quilindschy Hartman's ambition is to become a professional darts player once he retires from football.

"I play darts a lot and think that after my football career is over, I'm really going to throw plenty of them. I will want to play in competitions, as that is something I love,” Hartman told Express earlier this year.

Born in Zwijndrecht, Hartman began his footballing careers in the academies of VVGZ and Excelsior.

He then joined Feyenoord in 2010 and made his first-team debut for the Dutch side in 2022.

Over the past three seasons, the 23-year-old has played nearly 100 games in the Netherlands' Eredivisie and won the league title and the Dutch cup with the Rotterdam side.

He was rewarded with a call-up to the Netherlands side in 2023 and made his international debut in a 2-1 defeat by France in October 2023.

It was a dream debut for the left-back as he scored for his country on his debut. He has since won four caps for Oranje though missing out on a place in their Euro 2024 squad through injury.
