WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Lehigh men's tennis traveled east to Monmouth University for a Sunday evening match against the Hawks, falling by a score of 6-1.Monmouth (8-0) picked up the opening doubles points thanks to a 6-4 win at number one and a 6-1 win at number two. Number three doubles was left unfinished with a 5-5 score.The Hawks' number one Louis Keller opened singles competition with a two-set win over fifth-year Sean Jaeger. The Mountain Hawks then got on the board with a two-set win from Alex Van Lumich at number two. Monmouth then earned two-set wins at singles bouts three and five to clinch the victory.Following the clinch, the Hawks claimed two-set victories over the Mountain Hawks at singles numbers four and six.The Mountain Hawks return to play on Saturday March 7 at 5 p.m. on the road at Penn State University.SinglesLouis Keller (Monmouth) def.
