Starting right guard Rocco Spindler will try to practice this week, Freeman said. Spindler was knocked out of the Penn State game with an apparent ankle injury. He was replaced by Charles Jagusah.

Wide receiver Beaux Collins is dealing with a calf strain, which kept him sidelined for most of the Penn State game. As long as he progresses in practice, Freeman said, he’ll be good to go for the game.

Running back Jeremiyah Love is expected to be "full-go." Love has been dealing with a right knee injury but played a significant role in ND's victory over Penn State.
