WWE star spotted wearing Celtic kit on visit to Ireland

Celtic are well-supported all around the world and attract fans from all different types of backgrounds.

There are many famous Celtic supporters including the likes of Rod Stewart while others like Snoop Dogg have said they want to invest in the Hoops.

Stars from other sports have also declared their love for the Bhoys, in particular the likes of Michael Conlan in boxing.

WWE heroes are also the same and one has been sharing his love for the green and white.

Finn Balor reveals Celtic roots

With the WWE on tour all around Europe, it gives the chance for some of the biggest names in the industry to return to their homeland.

One of those who has been on the tour is Finn Balor, and he has declared his Celtic roots.

Balor shared a photo to his Instagram account of him wearing Celtic training gear alongside his grandmother with the caption: “Learning about life & the history of our island from my 94 year old grandmother. Tomorrow is for her, and for all of US”

He is the headline act for the tour, which is being held in Belfast on Monday 19 January before they continue travelling the rest of the continent.

Finn Balor joined by another Celtic-supporting WWE star

He isn’t the only one to be on the WWE roster and support the Hoops.

Supporters will probably know Sheamus, really known as Stephen Farrelly, as the main wrestling star who has pledged his allegiance to the Bhoys.

During a tour of the training ground in 2016, he said: “There’s no greater club than Celtic Football Club, especially with their history. Wearing the Celtic badge is a way of life and being a Celtic fan is part of the Glasgow culture.”
