At stumps on Day 2, Sahir Associates stood at 52/0 in seven overs, extending their lead to 189 runs.The day’s proceedings saw only 49 overs bowled due to a delayed start caused by rain, with MIT Solutions resuming their first innings at 46/1. However, they struggled against Sahir Associates’ pace attack, getting dismissed for 135 in 41.5 overs.M Tayyab was MIT Solutions’ top scorer with 36 not out, while Zain Ishaq (26) and Muhammad Bilal (21) provided brief resistance. Shahid Ali with 4-60 in 12.5 overs dismantled MIT Solutions’ middle order while Mohsin Khan, M Bilawal and Khan Zeb got two wickets apiece, ensuring total control. With a healthy lead, Sahir Associates will aim to solidify their dominance on Saturday, while MIT Solutions must strike back quickly to stay in contention.
