WPL 2025 schedule

The WPL 2025 season will be played across four venues from February 14 to March 15, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Thursday.

This will be the third edition of the Women’s Premier League, the world’s most lucrative franchise-based T20 cricket tournament for women.

WPL 2025 kicks off with reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru facing off against Gujarat Giants at the newly-constructed BCA Stadium in Vadodara, which will host the first six matches of the tournament.

The bandwagon then moves to the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru for the next eight matches. Lucknow will then get its first taste of WPL action with the Ekana hosting four games, including three involving local franchise UP Warriorz.

Mumbai will be the last stop with the final four matches of WPL 2025, including the Eliminator on March 13 and final on March 15, scheduled at the CCI Stadium.

This year’s tournament will follow the same format as last season with the five teams - Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Mumbai Indians (MI), UP Warriorz (UPW), Gujarat Giants (GG) and Delhi Capitals (DC) - facing each other in single headers in the league stage.
