The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hosted the 2025 edition of the prestigious NAMAN Awards on Saturday, February 01. The event was held in the Mumbai, also known as the city of dreams, where several Indian domestic and international players were honoured for their outstanding achievements in the field of cricket.

Star cricketer Smriti Mandhana was awarded for splendid performances across two categories ('Highest run-getter in Women's ODIs' and 'Best International Cricketer - Women'), while Deepti Sharma, who took most wickets in the One-Day format in the previous season, also received the award for the category.

The star of the show was ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who received the 'Polly Umrigar Best International Cricket - Men's'. The Ahmedabad-born was the Player of the Tournament in India's victorious campaign at the T20 World Cup 2024, 71 Test wickets last year. Notably, Bumrah also earned the Sir Garfield Sobers Best International Men's Cricketer by the ICC in January 2025.

Meanwhile, legendary former cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, was bestowed with Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award by the BCCI.
